Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents at Pine Point Ctr
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to nursing staff
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Document care provided accurately and promptly
• Respond to call lights and support residents' emotional and physical needs
• Collaborate with the nursing team to deliver the highest standard of care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
• Must have completed the original or updated COVID-19 vaccination series or provide a documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to provide a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• A caring, dependable, and positive attitude
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as required in a healthcare setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Experience taking vital signs and recording patient information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
