Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Monitor and report changes in resident health and behavior to the nursing team
• Help with mobility, positioning, and transfers to keep residents safe and comfortable
• Support meals and hydration, documenting intake as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents
• Build meaningful connections with residents and their families, ensuring dignity and respect at all times

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or assisted living is a plus
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stand, lift, and assist with resident transfers
• A genuine passion for helping others

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and safety protocols
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks during busy shifts
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident confidentiality
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs
