Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist residents with mobility, repositioning, and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and record vital signs, and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
• Support residents during meals and monitor food and fluid intake
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and families
• Collaborate with the care team to promote dignity, independence, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
• Must bring a state or federally issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented approach to care
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with resident mobility
• Previous long-term care experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic resident care techniques and infection control practices
• Skill in monitoring vital signs and documenting observations
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Empathy and patience when supporting residents and families
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
