Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, while promoting their independence and dignity
• Monitor and record vital signs, changes in condition, and behavioral observations, reporting concerns to the nursing team promptly
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort throughout their day
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to residents and their families, creating a welcoming and caring environment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe living space by following infection control and safety protocols
• Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania
• Current BLS/CPR certification or ability to obtain before starting
• A genuine passion for helping others and providing quality, compassionate care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with residents, families, and team members
• Ability to work a flexible per diem schedule, including availability for the listed shift
• Must pass a background check and comply with facility credentialing requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care techniques and activities of daily living support
• Skilled in taking and recording vital signs accurately
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation
• Team collaboration and active listening skills
• Empathy, patience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
