Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care and personal support to residents
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
• Monitor and document vital signs and patient observations accurately
• Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
• Communicate changes in condition promptly to nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection-control practices
• Contribute to a positive patient experience through respectful, patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required
• Comfortable working overnight per diem shifts (5:00 PM - 5:30 AM)
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to follow care plans and document care accurately
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care and assisting with ADLs
• Proficient in taking and recording vital signs
• Knowledge of infection prevention and standard precautions
• Ability to perform safe patient transfers and use assistive devices
• Accurate documentation and basic charting skills
• Teamwork and clear communication with nurses and support staff
