Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (schedule varies), 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living
Monitor, record and report changes in patient condition, including vital signs
Assist patients with mobility, bathing, dressing and toileting needs
Communicate clearly with nurses and interdisciplinary team to support care plans
Maintain a safe, clean and respectful environment for patients and families
Follow infection control protocols and facility policies at all times

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (state registry required or eligible)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working overnight shifts and flexible per diem scheduling
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Ability to pass background check, drug screen and required health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Familiarity with activities of daily living (ADLs) assistance
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Basic infection control practices and patient safety procedures
Teamwork and clear communication with nursing staff and leadership
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced clinical setting
