Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (as-needed), 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting comfort and dignity
Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding)
Monitor and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Support safe mobility and transfers according to care plans
Help maintain a clean, safe, and respectful environment for residents
Document care and observations accurately and promptly

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (Class: CNA)
Comfortable working 12+ hour day shifts as scheduled (start 6:00 AM)
Previous experience in rehab, long-term care, or similar setting is a plus
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude

Education

Completion of an accredited CNA training program; high school diploma or equivalent preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
Vital signs measurement and observation skills
Infection control and safe handling practices
Accurate documentation and charting
Teamwork and clear communication with nursing staff and leadership
Empathy, patience, and resident-centered care approach
