Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and personalized care to acute care patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team
• Help patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
• Document patient care accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Virginia
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred, but new grads welcome to apply
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented approach to patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care principles and best practices
• Vital signs monitoring and documentation
• Understanding of infection control procedures
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Adaptability to changing patient needs and unit demands
