Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts with on-call rotation, average 1-2 call days per week and 1 weekend a month, 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath procedures including left and right heart caths, complex PCI, Impella, and IABP support
Assist with electrophysiology studies and structural heart interventions such as TAVR and Watchman procedures
Support interventional radiology and peripheral vascular cases including hybrid AAA repairs
Collaborate with a dynamic team of 14 techs and 7 RNs in a busy multimodality lab averaging 25-30 cases daily
Ensure patient safety and comfort while operating advanced imaging equipment including GE, CARTO, and Abbott EP systems

Qualifications

ARRT or RCIS certification required
Active Washington DOH CVIS or RT license
Prior experience in Cath Lab, IR, Electrophysiology, Structural Heart, and Peripheral Vascular procedures
Current radiation badge (facility does not supply or track)
Strong team player ready to jump into a welcoming, traveler-friendly environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with EPIC, MACLAB, PYXIS, GE Imaging, CARTO, and Abbott EP systems
Comfortable with ultrasound-guided IV starts and central monitoring
Knowledge of critical care equipment including vents for procedure patients
Ability to respond quickly during on-call situations with 30-minute response time
