Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in the emergency department
• Provide immediate care for acute illnesses and injuries
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team
• Monitor patient vitals and document accurately

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa
• BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of ED experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Advanced cardiac life support
• Pediatric advanced life support
• Trauma nursing core course
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Emergency nursing assessment and intervention
