Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, with some Saturdays (up to 3 per 6-week period), closed Sundays and holidays as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients recovering from surgery, monitoring vital signs and managing post-procedural needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Assist with cath lab patients and handle ER overflow when needed
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Iowa
• Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications
• Willingness to work Saturdays and holidays as needed
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in medical-surgical nursing and post-operative care
• Ability to manage multiple patients with diverse clinical needs
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and emergency response
• Team player with excellent problem-solving abilities
