Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal assistance
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing team
• Help with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety and comfort
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and common areas
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the care team
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Compassionate and dependable with a positive attitude
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and hygiene practices
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift residents
• Time management and adaptability
