Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Take and record vital signs, promptly reporting changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety and comfort
• Support residents during meals, monitoring intake and assisting as needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
• Engage residents in positive interactions, promoting dignity and independence

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to lift and transfer residents safely
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of resident rights and HIPAA regulations
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a care team
• Basic computer skills for documentation
• Strong time management and organizational skills
