Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holidays as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate patient care as charge nurse on a medical-surgical unit
• Provide comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions for patients with diverse medical conditions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care as needed
• Supervise and support LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care
• Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of current Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from American Heart Association
• EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Must have own reliable transportation

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Proficient in EPIC electronic medical records
• Ability to manage high patient load (6:1 ratio) with support staff
• Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing best practices
