Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting
- Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
- Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage patient education
- Float to other units as needed to support the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in California (or compact license accepted)
- MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification required at time of submittal
- Minimum 1 year of recent Urgent Care or Emergency experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Urgent care or emergency nursing expertise
- Excellent communication and patient education skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- MAB training and de-escalation techniques
