Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced urgent care setting
• Assess, triage, and treat patients with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage patient education
• Float to other units as needed to support the healthcare team
• Maintain accurate patient records and uphold safety standards

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California (or compact license accepted)
• MAB (Management of Assaultive Behavior) certification required at time of submittal
• Minimum 1 year of recent Urgent Care or Emergency experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Urgent care or emergency nursing expertise
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency in electronic health records
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• MAB training and de-escalation techniques
