Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists during exams and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment for orthodontic treatments
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and care for braces and Invisalign
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
• Support a fast-paced clinic environment with a smile

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Experience with orthodontic procedures, braces, and Invisalign
• Excellent communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting
• X-ray certification and current CPR/BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in orthodontic terminology and procedures
• Skilled in taking impressions, digital scans, and fitting appliances
• Familiar with dental software for charting and scheduling
• Strong attention to detail and infection control practices
