Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support to individuals with psychiatric conditions
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs accurately
• Assist patients with daily living activities and therapeutic interventions
• Document patient progress and observations in charts
• Collaborate with healthcare team to implement treatment plans
• Promote a safe and compassionate environment for recovery

Qualifications

• Active California Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of psychiatric care and behavioral interventions
• Proficient in charting and documentation (CHART)
• Excellent communication and core patient care skills
• Familiarity with symptom assessment and management
• Understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health
