Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of nursing staff
• Monitor patient behavior and document symptoms accurately using charting systems
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Assist in developing and implementing treatment plans
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
• Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active California LPT license
• CPR certification (BLS)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an LPT preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and techniques
• Proficiency in medical terminology and charting
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and effectively
• Understanding of patient confidentiality and ethical standards
