Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and procedures to ensure smooth patient care
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, set up trays, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
• Take digital X-rays, impressions, and 3D scans for treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
• Manage patient records, appointments, and follow-up communication
• Support a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that puts patients at ease

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited program
• Experience in orthodontics preferred but we're happy to train the right candidate
• Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and infection control procedures
• Familiarity with orthodontic tools and materials (brackets, wires, bands, etc.)
• Proficiency in dental practice management software
• Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients of all ages
• Attention to detail and organizational know-how
