Candidate Pay Rate: $35 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the orthodontist during exams, adjustments, and procedures to ensure smooth patient care
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, set up trays, and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment
- Take digital X-rays, impressions, and 3D scans for treatment planning
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, and treatment expectations
- Manage patient records, appointments, and follow-up communication
- Support a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that puts patients at ease
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or completion of an accredited program
- Experience in orthodontics preferred but we're happy to train the right candidate
- Strong communication skills and a passion for patient care
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain)
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and infection control procedures
- Familiarity with orthodontic tools and materials (brackets, wires, bands, etc.)
- Proficiency in dental practice management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with patients of all ages
- Attention to detail and organizational know-how
