Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and care for progressive care patients with acute and chronic medical conditions, including a large cardiac population
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments while closely watching telemetry and vital signs
• Collaborate with a dedicated care team to create and adjust patient care plans
• Float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed to help wherever you're needed most
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and escalate concerns to the care team
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR (Meditech)

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or a compact state (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of current acute care PCU or similar progressive care experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications required
• Willingness to float across units and work closely with the team
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
• Chemo certification is a plus if you're interested in our Oncology unit

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry skills
• Ability to care for diverse medical conditions, both acute and chronic
• Compassionate, flexible, and collaborative mindset
• Comfortable using Meditech EMR
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic life support and advanced cardiac life support knowledge
