Location: Clayton, NM
Start Date: 08-07-2026
End Date: 11-20-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Various days, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (with 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure resident safety
- Support residents with meals, feeding, and hydration needs
- Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
- Previous long-term care experience a plus, but new grads welcome to apply
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Attention to detail in recording patient information
- Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- Physical stamina to perform lifting and assisting tasks
