Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center
• Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans that support recovery and comfort
• Administer medications and treatments safely, monitoring for responses and adjusting care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Document patient progress thoroughly and communicate openly with families and caregivers
• Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs to ensure every resident receives attentive care

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license in New Mexico
• Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• COVID-19 vaccination or an approved medical or religious exemption
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Compassionate, reliable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced rehab environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and teams
• Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate documentation
• Knowledge of geriatric nursing, rehabilitation practices, and infection control
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
