Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Provide mobility support, including transferring and repositioning patients to ensure comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean and organized patient environment, including changing linens and tidying rooms
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure high-quality care
• Respond promptly to patient calls and provide compassionate support

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• BLS/CPR certification
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to varying schedules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of patient care techniques and safety protocols
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Skill in using medical equipment such as blood pressure cuffs and thermometers
• Ability to document care accurately
• Teamwork and collaboration skills
• Empathy and emotional resilience
