Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in a 12-bed ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, titrating medications and interventions as needed
• Collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team to create and adjust care plans
• Operate and manage advanced equipment including ventilators, CRRT, and IV therapy
• Perform procedures such as cardioversion, chest tube insertion, and central line care
• Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year recent acute care hospital ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications
• Experience with ventilator management and IV gtt competency
• Willingness to float to other Wesley campuses as needed
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of ICU monitoring and critical care protocols
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records
• Understanding of ventilator care, CRRT, and advanced cardiac life support
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong patient advocacy and family communication skills
