Roles & Responsibilities
- Scrub in for a variety of surgical procedures including total joints, general surgery, spine, and urology cases
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are ready for each case
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures with precision and attention to detail
- Maintain sterile technique and follow all safety protocols to protect patients and staff
- Collaborate with specialty leads and charge nurses to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of full-time experience as a Surgical Tech
- BLS certification required
- Experience with Ortho, Vascular, and General Surgery procedures
- Strong scrubbing skills and ability to work in high-volume OR settings
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in scrubbing techniques for a wide range of surgical specialties
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
- Ability to handle 20-30 cases per day in a busy surgical environment
- Comfortable working in a 6-suite OR with hybrid room capabilities
