Location: Bakersfield, California

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM, rotating weekends, and rotating holiday on-call
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
- Operate GE imaging equipment with precision and care
- Collaborate with the in-house radiologist to deliver accurate diagnostic results
- Float to Mercy Downtown campus when needed to support patient care across locations
- Maintain accurate documentation using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during all nuclear medicine studies
Qualifications
- Current CA NMTL license required
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of nuclear medicine experience
- Comfortable working independently with lead tech support
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in cardiac, SPECT, bone scan, bleed studies, and gastric emptying procedures
- Experience with Radnet and Merge Unity EMR/PACS systems
- Familiarity with GE imaging equipment
- Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
