Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8 and 12 hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM or 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with 1-4 hour weeknight call every week and weekend call every 5 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for procedures
Assist surgeons during a wide variety of cases including ortho, neuro, robotics, GYN, ENT, and eyes
Maintain sterile technique and support the surgical team throughout each case
Handle specialized equipment like the DaVinci Robot, stealth navigation, and O-arm
Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver exceptional patient care in the OR

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
CST certification preferred but not required
Strong experience in ortho, neuro, and robotics procedures
Driver's license required at time of submittal
Must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility and not be currently employed by CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ortho, neuro, GYN, ENT, eyes, and robotics procedures
Comfortable with a wide range of cases from general surgery to complex neuro and trauma plastics
Ability to work 8 or 12 hour shifts with occasional call coverage
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining sterile fields
