Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate cardiac telemetry care to patients recovering from MI, CP, and lung transplant procedures
- Monitor and interpret EKGs using Philips equipment while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
- Administer non-titrating drips and manage patients on CPAP and high-flow oxygen
- Collaborate with a dedicated team including charge nurses, PCTs, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists
- Float to other telemetry units as needed to support excellent patient outcomes across the facility
- Maintain sterile technique during procedures and complete required skills validation with confidence
Qualifications
- Current RN license in Arizona or compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Level 1 trauma experience strongly preferred
- Strong EKG interpretation skills with ability to pass dysrhythmia exam
- Comfortable working with Cerner EMR and performing Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes
Knowledge & Skills
- Cardiac step-down and telemetry monitoring expertise
- Proficient with Philips telemetry systems and EKG interpretation
- Experience caring for patients with MI, CP, lung transplant, and ER overflow
- Ability to float between telemetry units and adapt quickly to different patient populations
- Strong sterile field technique and skills validation readiness
