Location: Redding, CA

Start Date: 07-10-2026

End Date: 10-09-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Various shift durations available: 8-hour (6:30 AM - 3:00 PM), 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts. Mids start at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM. Night shift options with call included Monday-Thursday.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment
Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgeries
Handle specimens and equipment according to hospital protocols
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow
Participate in on-call duties for weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech in a main OR setting
Strong experience with total joints, general, vascular, and spine surgery
BLS Certification required
COVID Vaccine required
Comfortable with Cerner Surginet charting system

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in sterile technique and surgical instrumentation
Knowledge of CVOR, ortho, general, vascular, neuro/spine, ENT, and trauma cases
Ability to handle call schedules and high-acuity cases
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
