Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting communication, feeding, and swallowing disorders
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals
• Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and home practice
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment goals as needed

Qualifications

• Current Oregon state license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP)
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
• Previous pediatric experience is a plus
• Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Flexibility to adapt to varying patient caseloads
