Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging exams on patients from newborn to geriatric
• Ensure high-quality imaging and continuity of patient care
• Contribute to efficient department operations and assist with clerical duties as needed
• Use specialized training to provide excellent patient care in a remote Alaskan setting

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of post-graduation ultrasound experience
• Current ARDMS certification (abdomen or OB/GYN) required; multiple specialties preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to travel to Bethel and work in a remote facility

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Sonography program or equivalent preferred; current ARDMS may be accepted in lieu

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in GE ultrasound equipment preferred
• Experience with Trophon disinfection system preferred
• Strong patient care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a small facility
