Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered care to assigned patients
• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
• Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the care team
• Support safe transfers and positioning while promoting patient dignity
• Document care and observations clearly and in a timely manner
• Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe environment
• Communicate effectively with nurses, supervisors, patients, and families to coordinate care

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA (California preferred)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and any required health screenings
• Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited CNA program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in personal care and basic nursing assistance
• Ability to take and accurately document vital signs
• Familiarity with infection prevention and safe patient handling
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable using electronic or paper documentation systems
