Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Nights, 12-hour shifts; every other weekend (Fri and Sat)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Attend deliveries independently and assist with catching and transitioning newborns
Circulate during C-sections and provide perioperative care
Titrate drips including magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin
Monitor fetal heart tracings using Centricity-perinatal system
Provide postpartum and couplet care to mothers and babies
Collaborate with OB hospitalists, neonatologists, and anesthesia team available 24/7

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience; previous travel experience preferred
Active RN license in Washington or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced fetal heart monitoring certification preferred
Comfortable attending deliveries and circulating C-sections independently

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP (labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum) model experience
Proficient in EPIC charting system
Ability to titrate drips and manage high-risk OB patients
Strong teamwork and adaptability to unit workflows
