Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care to patients across the unit
• Manage and monitor ventilators to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Perform airway management and assist with intubations
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
• Assess and evaluate patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of recent acute care RRT hospital experience
• Active RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) credential
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• CRT or NBRC certification
• Prior Meditech EMR experience preferred
• Experience in PEDS/NICU/PICU is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in ventilator management with Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea equipment
• Strong airway management skills
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system
• Awareness of pediatric and neonatal respiratory care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
