Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate respiratory care to pediatric patients
• Assess patient respiratory status and implement care plans
• Administer breathing treatments and monitor patient response
• Manage and troubleshoot ventilators for patients in need
• Educate families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Ohio Respiratory Therapist license
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• RRT or CRT credential from the NBRC
• Pediatric experience preferred, but new grads encouraged to apply
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of respiratory therapy principles and practices
• Proficiency with ventilators and respiratory equipment
• Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and diagnostic tests
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
