Respiratory Therapist - Acute Care
Location: Coos Bay, Oregon
Start Date: 08-25-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 36 hours guaranteed per week; weekend and on-call schedules to be determined by facility.
Hours per Week: 60
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments to guide patient care
- Administer respiratory treatments and evaluate patient responses
- Educate patients and families on respiratory health and wellness
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute hospital setting
- Experience working with infants and pediatric patients
- Current PALS certification
- Active Oregon state license
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in respiratory assessment and treatments
- Strong patient education skills
- Comfortable working in acute hospital environments
- Proficient in infant and pediatric respiratory care
