Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities including bathing and dressing
• Take vital signs and collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, and providers
• Answer resident calls and respond promptly
• Observe residents for skin integrity changes and provide appropriate care
• Turn, reposition, and transfer residents to bed, chair, or wheelchair
• Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas by changing sheets and restocking supplies

Qualifications

• Current California CNA license
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CNA

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to work under pressure and relate to residents, families, and long-term care staff
• Demonstrated ability to communicate in English (reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending)
• Ability to understand, plan, and carry out resident care plans and ADLs
