Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients with a wide range of conditions from non-critical to emergent
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing interventions for trauma, cardiac, and pediatric emergencies
• Monitor and manage critical cardiac and trauma patients, including those arriving by emergency transport
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain a calm and efficient environment in a fast-paced emergency department
• Utilize EMR system (Point Click) for accurate documentation and communication

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• ACLS, TNCC, and PALS required
• CEN certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience in emergency nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing, trauma care, cardiac care, and pediatric emergency care
• Proficient in advanced life support and critical assessment skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to manage high-stress situations with composure
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Point Click
