Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care to Medical Surgical patients utilizing the nursing process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments following approved protocols and state regulations
• Document patient care thoroughly to ensure accurate medical records
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance
• Use critical thinking to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Illinois
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of Med-Surg nursing experience

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Medical Surgical Nursing expertise
• Medication administration and patient care
• Critical thinking and documentation skills
• Experience with Point Click EMR
• Telemetry monitoring skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
