Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for a large cardiac patient population
• Provide acute care to patients with varied medical issues, both acute and chronic
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care
• Float to inpatient Med/Tele and Rehab units as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
• Educate patients and families on their conditions and care plans

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
• Chemo certification preferred for oncology unit opportunities
• Strong telemetry and cardiac care experience preferred
• Willingness to float to different units and adapt to varying patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm monitoring and interpretation
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Compassionate patient care approach with a team-player mindset
