Registered Nurse - PCU Oncology
Location: Omaha, Nebraska

End Date: 08-24-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 12 hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients from diagnosis through remission
- Manage chemotherapy administration and titratable drips like cardizem with confidence
- Collaborate with a stellar team including charge nurses, educators, and support staff
- Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience
- Float to similar med/surg and PCU units while maintaining same-level care
- Monitor hemodynamics and support diverse adult patients with respect and a smile
Qualifications
- Active RN license
- 2 years of experience preferred, open to first-time travelers
- Chemotherapy certification required
- Genuine passion for patient care and strong teamwork skills
Education
- BSN not required
Knowledge & Skills
- PCU and oncology experience
- EPIC charting proficiency
- Titration of drips including insulin and cardizem
- Hemodynamic monitoring like CVP, A-line, Swan
