Shift Type: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6 week schedule, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance with flexibility for Option A (single facility weekly) or Option B (JIT assignment 1-2 hours before shift)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional critical care in a float role across MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU and more, managing 1:1-2 ratios for high-acuity patients
• Titrate critical drips like pressors, sedations, and heparin with confidence to stabilize and save lives
• Float flexibly within Zone 3 facilities and to PCU/Stepdown or MS-Tele, adapting to where you're needed most
• Interpret your own tele strips and assist with respiratory management using vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow
• Collaborate with dedicated charge nurses and RTs to provide top-tier care in dynamic ICU environments

Qualifications

• Active RN license with at least 2 years of recent ICU experience (3+ years and Epic if first-time traveler)
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
• Comfortable with 60-mile radius floating - live within reach of Denver-area facilities
• Prior travel experience preferred for seamless integration into this adventurous role

• Expertise in combination ICUs handling high-acuity cases like CRRT, IABP, and Impella
• Proficient in Epic charting and titrating a wide range of critical drips
• Strong tele interpretation and respiratory troubleshooting skills
• Adaptable mindset for floating across facilities and acuities with a team-player spirit
