Shift Type: Varying 12-hour shifts including days/mids (7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 9:00 AM-9:00 PM, 10:00 AM-10:00 PM, 11:00 AM-11:00 PM, 12:00 PM-12:00 AM, 1:00 PM-1:00 AM) and nights (3:00 PM-3:00 AM, 5:00 PM-5:00 AM, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM), every other weekend, must do 2 of 3 holidays

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver rapid, compassionate care to high-acuity ER patients including MVAs, GSWs, strokes, and cardiac emergencies
• Manage 1:3-4 ratios while collaborating with paramedics, CNAs, and rapid response teams
• Perform moderate conscious sedation and handle vents, IVs, and telemetry monitoring with precision
• Float seamlessly between Gilbert and Chandler ERs to support the team where needed most
• Stabilize pediatric cases and psych holds, making a real difference in critical moments

Qualifications

• Active RN license with minimum 2 years ER/Trauma experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC) certifications required
• Moderate conscious sedation competency
• Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam passed (max 2 attempts)
• Flexible for varying shifts and every other weekend

Education

• RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in high-volume ER with trauma, stroke, cardiac, and high-risk OB cases
• Proficient with GE Lifepacks, Puritan Bennett 840 vents, Draeger, and BiPAP systems
• Strong teamwork with physicians, midlevels, RT, and pharmacy support
• Comfortable in fast-paced 31-bed ER handling 11% peds population
