Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to inmates at Curran-Fromhold facility
- Assess patient conditions and develop tailored care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and empathy
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure top-notch patient outcomes
- Monitor vital signs and respond swiftly to medical needs
- Maintain accurate records and promote a safe healing environment
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania
- Current BLS certification
- Correctional nursing experience a plus but eager learners welcome
- Strong clinical skills with a heart for underserved populations
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in patient assessment and care planning
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
- Familiarity with electronic health records
