Location: Carmichael, California

Start Date: 06-09-2026

End Date: 09-08-2026

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, up to every other weekend, rotating holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Develop and manage patient daily lists
Assess patient needs and create care plans
Lead goals of care discussions and education on disease processes
Hold family meetings and provide end-of-life support
Attend daily rounds with the palliative care team

Qualifications

2-5 years of recent experience in palliative and/or hospice settings
ICU and/or oncology experience a plus
BLS certification required, ELNEC preferred
Strong acute care, clinical thinking, and communication skills

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical thinking and problem-solving
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Organizational and time management skills
Palliative care principles and practices
