Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality occupational therapy care to patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with medical providers and other healthcare professionals
Conduct home visits and village travel as needed
Incorporate evidence-based medicine into patient care

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Alaska or eligible for licensure
Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
2 years of experience in occupational therapy (preferred)

Education

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret medical literature
Knowledge of occupational therapy principles and practices
Cultural competence and sensitivity
