Roles & Responsibilities

Perform direct patient cardiac diagnostic testing procedures
Provide age-specific care to patients of all ages
Serve as a professional resource to physicians and hospital staff
Accurately perform echocardiogram studies and other cardiac diagnostic tests
Implement infection control practices and aseptic techniques

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required
Basic Life Support and Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification required
2 years of hands-on experience with echocardiography
Experience working with pediatric and neonatal patients

Education

High School Diploma or GED
Certificate Program in Cardiovascular Sonography
