Bill Rate: $87,000.00 to $113,000.00

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide education and case management to people with diabetes, prediabetes, and gestational diabetes
Maintain diabetes registries for patients
Ensure patients receive annual exams, laboratory tests, and education
Coordinate primary and secondary prevention goals for patients with diabetes
Facilitate education and implementation of IHS Standards of Care for Adults with Type 2 Diabetes

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Alaska
Certification as a Diabetic Educator (or eligible to apply within 2 years)
3 years of general nursing or dietetic experience
Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years

Education

Current RN license in the state of Alaska
