Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to pediatric patients in the PACU
• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and manage post-operative symptoms
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure optimal outcomes
• Educate families on post-procedure care and recovery expectations
• Maintain a calm, reassuring presence for children and their families

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Ohio
• BLS and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of PACU or critical care experience preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in pediatric patient care and recovery
• Proficiency in airway management and monitoring vital signs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions
