Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care to patients recovering from total joint and spine surgeries
• Monitor vital signs and assess post-operative conditions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on recovery and rehabilitation
• Administer medications and manage pain control
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of current Ortho or Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care setting
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Ortho/Spine experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthopedic nursing protocols
• Skill in assessing post-operative patients
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced unit
• Strong communication and patient education skills
